From twelve cards, each round each player chooses five in trying to brew one of three potions that earn points. In a turn, he plays one of these character cards in hope of performing the action on it. But a next player also could have this card in his hand and play it, nullifying the card and the action on it of the previous player. So: try to play a card that one one will have chosen? Wait with playing that card till he is the last player in a round, so nobody can cancel his action? Or take the risk that a following player has this card and plays it, but only wants to perform the lesser action, because he himself is in fear of being cancelled too? In this game, nothing seems what it is - just like magic (wie verhext)!
