Eggertspiele releases a swift card game called 'Changing Horses'. Goal of the game is to be the last horse at game end.
Each turn consists of two rounds in which cards are laid out in the middle of the track, beginning with the starting player. After the second round the horse which colour is played most moves one space, except when there is an even number of that colour played.
Players have two joker cards they can use during the game that have several possibilities, one of which is to use it as a rope and let one horse stumble into another lane, thereby hindering the horses that are behind - a perfect opportunity if a player owns the hindered horse, as it cannot move and improves its chances of winnig, eh losing!
The joker also can be used to change horses: discard the owner card of the horse, and draw a new (blind) one.
The game ends when one horse has finished the finish line; the owner of the horse that is in last position then wins the game.

In 'Metropolys', players place a tower in a quarter, the starting player first, then the others, in adjacent quarters. The towers each differ in length. When all have placed their towers, the highest remains; all others go back to the players. When a player has placed all of his towers, the game ends and some bonuses are awarded. There is a family game, and an expert game that includes objective cards.

While the box cover gives us a Jules Verne like impression of a futuristic town - strangely enough with a lady with umbrella on the foreground who almost directly walked from the box cover of 'Ticket to Ride' - the mapboard itself gives us a postmodern impression.
